Hooray for awesome oregon coast weather!! My and my boys are at Bandon - we played Bandon Dunes Yesterday and Pacific Dunes today - we played in partly cloudy with sunshine both days supposed to be even nicer tomorrow - Bandon Trails. I cant wait to play Gearhart!

Well, Peggy got in four rounds ... I only got in three ... that other four letter word (w.o.r.k.) seems to get in the way of my golf! Peg is right, the weather has been very cooperative at the beach ... it was 62 today! Sometimes we don't even get that nice a day in the SUMMER!

As to the bunkers at Gearhart Golf Links ... speak for yourself when it comes to "You can even get out of them" ... for me ... sometimes :-)

Wow! Got in four rounds of golf this week. Our coastal weather has been really great this month. I thought that it might be time to start thinking about summer get togethers for the Oregon group. Kathleen is limited to Tuesday and Wednesdays, but other days would be okay for me. The ladies club at Gearhart plays on Thursdays. Ladies are always welcome to come join us. The Gearhart Golf LInks is in the best shape that I have seen it in years. The snadtraps were redone this winter and are very much inproved. You can even get out of them. Hope to hear from some of you about golfing.

Played Tuesday and Wednesday. GREAT weather at the coast. Just like summer. Played with Gearhart Ladies Golf Club on Tuesday had six players. Wednesday was open play and we still had sic players. Just not planning on playing today. WET AND WINDY!!!!!

Golf is great this time of year in the Monterey area! The clouds usually burn off by noon.

I am hoping to get to play at least a few times here in the valley this winter. I went down to Nevada in October and played 4 rounds, I am going to Monterey and hoping to play twice, this next week. (taking all my rain gear) my work is really cutting into my golf time...really annoying

Come to Gearhart, Come to Gearhart ... not that I don't want to play other courses, but I am very proud of mine!
