It is our distinct pleasure to invite you and your friends to join us for the 8th Annual Dr. James Fisher Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Blacks United for Youth, Inc. (BUY-COBB) Scholarship Fund.

The event will be held at the Marietta City Club Golf Course at the Hilton Conference Center, Tuesday November 3, 2009 – 8:30am registration, 10:00am shotgun start.

This is the first year we will award the “Fisher Cup” to the Championship Foursome. The winning foursome’s names will forever be etched on our unique championship trophy and in the lives of young people it benefits. The young men and women of BUY-COBB, Inc. will serve as hosts throughout our event.

BUY-COBB, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501c3 organization and is comprised of business, civic, and education leaders throughout our community who are committed to serve as mentors to students as they successfully navigate to and through the world of higher education.

This is more than a golf tournament; it is a networking event giving each attendee the opportunity to network with a diverse field of celebrities, business owners, and current and future community leaders while building relationships that will last a lifetime.

Additionally, this year we are going to launch our “Noshville” area where people who are not playing can interact as well as learn about the heritage and etiquette of golf.

A boxed lunch will be served at the end of the tournament during the presentation of the trophies and drawing for the raffle.

Please find attached opportunities for sponsorship and the golf tournament entry form.
You can also register online by visiting http://www.buycobbinc.org/.

John, I've played Creekside a couple of times. Didn't fair to well. I'ts a tough course. I think I lost a dozen balls there. Off the fairway and your ball is lost! I do most of my golfing at Dogwood CC in Austell. Simi Private Club. I try to get a round in every other sunday.
