Hi Vicki! Welcome to the group. Your story sounds like mine. I started golfing with my fiance a few years ago and I am hooked!

I started playing June 2008 and have been hooked every since. Can't get enough!! My husband and I play just about every weekend both Saturday and Sunday; sometimes during the week if the weather is really nice and if we both can get off work. It's usually just him and I but sometimes when the courses are busy they put us with others. We have played all over Middle TN as well as Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach and Jacksonville. Looking forward to this year and can't wait to get out there.

Hello ladies, I moved to TN from Florida 4 years ago. I was the president of the Smyrna Ladies Golf Assoc. in Smyrna, TN, but recently moved to Spring Hill, TN 6 months ago. I will be organizing a new league for King's Creek Golf Course, and we will be hosting a ladies tournament in April. Golf is the greatest game for women. It builds friendships and also gives us alot of exercise. I have been playing golf for 20 years, and I love it more now than ever. I hope and pray I can play this game when I am alot older.

Hi Ladies. I started golfing about 11 years ago at age 38. Had a total of 9 lessons with a very good instructor who has since moved to Florida. He said I had a natural swing which made me very happy My drives average around 180 yards and go straight down the fairway or wherever I am aimed unless it's very windy and then it's anybody's guess! lol I thoroughly enjoy golfing and do it at least once a week with my husband and am very happy with my game. The only part that is holding me back from breaking 90 consistently is my putting. I never thought this would be my downfall in golf. For Christmas my husband bought be a putting lesson. So in the Spring we'll see what happens. I got my first hole in one at my home course on August 25, 2008 on a 165 yard par three. Right now just waiting for the weather to warm up. May go out on Thursday. My husband golf's year round as long as there's no snow on the ground. I did too up until two years ago. Just can't deal with golfing below 45 degrees anymore. Check out Hank Haney's golf lessons with Ray Romano. Coming up soon.

Just started 3 years ago, but I love it! Temp here is in the single digits - too cold for man or beast to be outside. Can't wait for Spring!

I love playing golf and now I am using golf to help motivate me to get healthier. Three weeks ago I had an operation to repair torn cartilage in my knee. I've been going to PT and on my own to the gym. My goal is to have my knee in good shape for spring golf. I am also working at losing weight which is especially hard considering that I am in my 60's. I want to be able to walk the gold course and improve my game for the upcoming season. I posted a picture of me playing in my ladies golf league on my fridge to remind me everyday of my goals.

Hello, a friend told me about this website so I thought I would check it out. I have been playing golf for many years --- when my children were young I played very little, but now that they are grown, I have tried to get back to play regularly -- at least as long as the weather holds out. I LOVE to play golf. I love watching it on TV. My biggest thrill was watching the womens US open played in Newport, RI in 2006 and watching Lee Travino play at the CVS charity classic a few years ago.
